Think you’ve got the watts, the elbows and the race craft? The free Ebike Short Track brings fast, fun, bar-to-bar racing right beside the race village at the Wicklow MTB Festival.
Expect a tight, spectator-friendly course, quick-fire action and a proper moto format: line up for your heat, race hard for 10 minutes, and battle for a top-four spot to progress into the finals.
It’s short, sharp and seriously good craic — the perfect chance to test your legs, your lines and your nerve in front of the festival crowd.
Bring your mates, charge your battery and get ready to race. Bars will bang. Crowds will cheer. Finals await.
Course Information
The Ebike Short Track course is a shortened version of the cross-country loop, designed to keep the racing fast, close and exciting from start to finish.
Set right beside the race village, it’s a compact, high-energy lap with a mix of fast sections, tight turns and punchy accelerations. Riders can expect plenty of chances to pass, plenty of pressure from those around them, and plenty of noise from the crowd.
Short enough to keep the action intense, but still packed with proper mountain bike racing flavour — this is the cross-country loop turned up for maximum festival fun.
